Automation Fair Explores Continuous Improvement, Sustainability
Plant-wide optimization and sustainable production were among the topics addressed at the recent Automation Fair held in Anaheim, Calif., by Rockwell Automation.
Attendees at the event learned about a variety of manufacturing trends, including continuous improvement programs enabled by the convergence of industrial automation and information. Sustainable production was presented as the only long-term solution to overcoming the rising costs of energy, raw materials, environmental regulations, workers’ compensation and product liability.
Rockwell Automation also offered overviews of its industrial energy management products, software packages, servers and workstations and safety light-curtain controllers.
